Thanks for the advice, just wish i had read about it sooner! We also had the same experience on saturday night! Obviously met exactly the same rude, ignorant bouncer as you! i think it is an english thing because 5 of us were also pommes and had our names on the guest list. We were also abused and told by the bouncer to f?*K off back to our own country if we didn;t like it. As for the other comment posted that "by law the only forms of ID allowed are passport (which should neither be encouraged to take out or enforced), WA drivers license and proof of age card". Firstly Uk drivers licences are acceptable for use to drive in WA, yet unacceptable for entry to a night club?!, secondly proof of age card is exactly that, a card which prooves ones age, the exact ID which we all presented to the bouncers. So, we too were thoroughly annoyed and upset by the ignorance of this club and will be writing to the management and even papers to show the discrimination of this club and its staff. |
