where for brekkie and a nice scene/ atrmosphere

I want to take my friend for a nice brekkie for her 50th on Thursday. Where would I go within 1/2 hour drive of Surrey Hills, where it is aesthetically and gastronomically satisfying, the service is good, and I'll return with both arms and legs?
I've seen the brekkie discussion last year- a while ago, and no reference to aesthetics e.g. lovely view of water or whatever.
