I had a function at dante's and we had it as open bar. big mistake. $6000 dollar one. $6000 worth of alchohol in 5 hours?
our drinks were taken away before we could finish them, just so we could be charged for getting another one. they were weak with no taste of alchohol, which came as a surprise, seeing they were $7 a basic spirit.
Everyone that night said that at one point their drinks were slyly taken, which forced them to get another one.
we had ordered 28 platters, but maybe half of that were supplied, and we had to ask for napkins.
staff were rude and could barely manage a smile. they were quick to take our drinks but slow at supplying them.
no security was supplied and even though the bar was said to close at 1:00am, we were forced out at 12.30.
Maria the owner was confronted about this and denied it all saying that's what you get for an open bar, people will take advantage of you, but the only people that took advantage of us that night was dante's.
it's a great looking place but be prepared to be overcharged for everything.
